As an artist I enjoy painting outdoors by the water. The movement and shifts of light delight me. I hope you are delighted too~



Sarah Russell was born in raised in New England and enjoyed her summers by the Ocean not far from Manchester By the Sea, MA. At a young age she showed promise as an artist and took inspiration from her family of artists'. Her Granny and Mother were inspirational artists in her life.

 

As an artist Sarah paints, teaches, designs beaded jewelry and enjoys working with clay. Sarah's material of choice are water color paints. Sarah revels in the moments as she captures the beauty found outside. Sarah says that painting allows her to become one with nature. She feels all her senses are firing at once & she zones in on the moments, mixes colors, and uses her magic wands (paint brushes) to capture the essenses of what she gazes upon,

 

Sarah traveled to France in the Summers of 2005 and 2013.  Graduate with a Masters in Educational Studies and a Visual Arts Educator K-12  certificate in Massachusetts and New Hampsire . Currently her art is on display locally and online. Sarah's art can be purchased -she makes high-quality prints of her paintings. Her jewelry is typically made upon request with individual specifications made to order.
